  6. After completing the measurement 
  7. on the first eye, press the eye 
  8. button to indicate the other eye and 
  9. repeat the measurement for the 
  10. second eye.

  12. If you let the instrument set for 
  13. several minutes after taking a 
  14. reading it will automatically shut 
  15. off.  The readings will not be lost.  
  16. They will reappear when you press 
  17. the measurement button again.
